A Beer a Day Keeps the Doctor Away
Beer #104
AIPA (Schlafly Brewery/St. Louis Brewery)
Goddamn I love this beer. Last year I was buying six packs of it in quite large quantities and drinking them almost as fast as I could buy them. Then, they disappeared (they’re a seasonal). But I hadn’t done one of these Tumblr entries for it yet! Aaahhhh! Well, they came back this year, and I saved my last bottle for this.
Smells like a phenomenal west coast American IPA and is very light. Pretty much pale malt and a bit of crystal. Then, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial. Three of my favorite hops.
You can’t go wrong with this beer. It’s on my of my favorites, for it’s hometown appeal and the fact that it can stand on its own with the big boys. Look out for it next year.
